During a recent webcast organised by the Institute of Coaching, I had the pleasure of listening to Paul Marks share key findings from his 2025 Global Transformational Leadership Survey. The data, which was drawn from over 3,000 leaders across 26 countries, offers a powerful snapshot of what leaders are facing today.
One insight in particular stood out for me: 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗲𝘁𝗹𝘆 𝗾𝘂𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴.
We are in an unprecedented high-pressure environment – from navigating rapid digitalisation and AI integration to managing geopolitical instability and shifting consumer expectations, the challenges are relentless. Yesterday’s leaders are not prepared for today, so certainly not for tomorrow. Leadership confidence has taken a tumble compared to the previous 2023 survey. And the need for grounded, resilient leadership has never been greater.
As coaches, we have a unique opportunity to support leaders in:
🔹 𝗥𝗲𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵-𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗲𝗻𝘃𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀
Creating space to reflect, recalibrate, and reconnect with their leadership presence.
🔹 𝗙𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗯𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴
Introducing practical tools rooted in neuroscience and behavioral science to sustain energy, manage stress, and lead with clarity.
Leadership today isn’t just about driving results – it’s about leading with empathy, adaptability, and purpose. Thank you Paul for sharing these insights and for emphasising the pivotal role of coaching in shaping tomorrow’s leaders.
If you or your team need support in cultivating resilience and thriving in this era of volatility, feel free to reach out.
